David joined Key Group as a Non-Executive Director in October 2013. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Watchstone Group Plc, British Gas Insurance group, Premium Credit Limited and other private companies.
Having qualified both as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser and following an early career in investment banking, David became Finance Director, Chief Operating Officer and latterly Chief Executive of a quoted insurance broking and IFA group.
Since 1999, David has specialised in being a Non-Executive Director of a number of companies in the insurance, consumer finance and investment markets. He has developed an increasing interest in the financial needs of the over 50s and has been a non-executive director of Partnership Assurance Group Plc, the leading annuity provider for those with a medical condition, Chairman of Annuity Direct and of the audit committee of AGE UK Enterprises.
Having now reached that stage in life myself, I appreciate the need for a trusted adviser which specialises in the financial needs of those over the age of 50. The new flexibility introduced by the Government for pension income creates a real need for guidance through the multiplicity of products which are now on offer by a company which really focuses on its customers.
